West End LIVE is heading to London's Trafalgar Square for the fourteenth year this June.

This free annual festival showcases the best of the West End's culture and entertainment scene across 2 days. It's a key fixture in the capital's event calendar, growing in popularity year-on-year, perfect for those musical theatre lovers to enjoy.

West End LIVE always grows in popularity year on year, you do not need a ticket but entry is on a first come first served basis. The specially built stage over 2 days has already announced 27 shows that will be there for the weekend and it looks to be a fantastic weekend. Of course, if you are an avid musical theatre fan you'll be singing and dancing along all afternoon and whilst you are in London, you could pop and see one of those shows in the evening.

A range of merchandise, refreshments and interactive, family-friendly exhibits will also be available in Trafalgar Square. Be aware that your bags will be checked on your entrance into the event.

The West End LIVE event is something that has long been on my list of events to attend in the musical theatre calendar so I'm delighted to be heading up there for my first experience, along with my mum. Already 27 shows have been announced for the event and here's who you can expect to see at the festival,

I'm really excited to see some of my favourites such as Wicked, Matilda, The Lion King and Mamma Mia who I am sure will bring the crowd to life! West End LIVE is the perfect opportunity to see some of the freshest productions in the West End right now. I'm super excited to see the cast of Aladdin, Everybody's Talking About Jamie, Heathers and Tina The Musical struct their stuff on the staff at Trafalgar Square. I haven't stopped listening to their soundtracks! (if you press the links you can see their show trailers!)

If you can't get to London for this year's West End LIVE event but want to keep up to date with all of the action live from your sofa, make sure you follow them on Twitter and the hashtag #WestEndLIVE.

The West End LIVE has announced the line up for the event here if you want a glimpse of who to see when! I've also created the perfect West End LIVE playlist over on my Spotify! I know I'll be listening to this on the train, in the queue for the event and probably afterward to relive some of the moments all over again!

Get a glimpse of what to expect with the short trailer below!
