So BLOGMAS is a 'thing' in the blogging world and whoever is doing it, I bow down to you. Quite frankly the thought of attempting to daily blog until Christmas Eve feels me with utter dread because I just don't have the time with working most days of the week. Anyway it's the 1st December and because it's now officially the festive season and you've probably opened the first door on your calender it's the perfect time to chat about my 10 favourite Christmas films (i'm sure you'll agree the ones I have chosen are the absolute best and will want you watching them over the upcoming days before Christmas!) please enjoy the GIF's I have included too, what's a film post for me without some great GIF's to go along with it.
1. The Muppet Christmas Carol (1992)
I believe this was one of the first Christmas films I watched as a child and it's always been one of my absolute favourites. The soundtrack also forms part of my Christmas playlist, yes it's THAT good! If you haven't watched it your basically living under a Christmas rock, plus we all know the Muppet films from the 90s are bloody good!
2. Jack Frost (1998)
I'm always thoroughly surprised when I haven't heard of many people talk about this film. It completely tugs at my heartstrings, who wouldn't want a lost loved one to return during the Christmas period to comfort you? There are some lovely moments when you can laugh along too, please give it a watch if you never have.
3. The Grinch (2000)

4. Home Alone 1&2 (1990/1992)

5. Love Actually (2003)
I'm definitely late to the party when it comes to Love Actually. It's a film I haven't always enjoyed, but started to enjoy over the last couple of years. It's definitely one to enjoy with your partner on the sofa (or if you prefer a classic kids film then you can do that too!). The best part about this film is that it's JAM PACKED with tons of acting talent. I always find myself going 'oh i love her/him in this film' and figuring our what they've done since.
6. Arthur Christmas (2011)
This is just the CUTEST film ever. I just absolutely love it and I know my younger self would have loved it just as much too. It just possesses so much Christmas magic and leaves you feeling so festive. It's also a good one for the adults to laugh at too!
7. Elf (2003)

8. The Santa Clause (1994)
Tim Allen always reminds me of my dad (and I don't know why). I really enjoy the storyline for this film and think it's the most exciting idea. I like the Santa's workshop in this film it feels like a real workshop and all of the elves make you believe! Since there has been two other films in this instalment but the original is the best one for sure!

9. Frozen (2013)
We all know the story of Frozen right? Disney's big hit that is already 2 years old. I think this has the best soundtrack ever, singing Let Me Go and Do You Want to Build a Snowman? become a bit of a thing. It gives me so many festive feels with it's scene and characters. Can't wait to watch this and sing my lungs to it!
10. The Polar Express (2004)
This film have some of the most beautiful animation I have ever seen created for a Christmas film, making it extremely magical. I haven't watched this film enough since it was released and I'm making sure I definitely do this year.
I know there's loads of other great Christmas films, tell me about your favourites and whether they bring great memories around this time of year.
Have a lovely day guys!
