So I'm attending my first festival next weekend (12-16) and heading to the Sussex area for this year's Latitude Festival. I'm so excited to head up there for a couple of days of live music and performances as well as take in the good British countryside too. I'm slightly apprehensive about my first festival experience and I don't quite know what to expect, however I'm willing to give it a go. The only other festivals I have been to I've only attended for the duration of the day, therefore camping at a festival in itself will be a new experience. I've created a small wishlist to help me prepare for the weekend, please do let me your tips and tricks to having the best festival experience!

We won't be heading to the festival until the Friday afternoon because of work commitments, therefore missing a lot of Friday's good stuff. However I've gone from around 5pm when we should be on site and ready to immerse ourselves in all of the action.

  1. I'm so jealous, Latitude looks amazing this year! My advice is pack loads of layers and changes of clothes in case of rain/cold weather, comfy/waterproof shoes and take plenty of snacks and loads of baby wipes and tissues. Hope you have a brilliant time x

    1. It really does, it looks like a mini Glastonbury I'm just hoping the amount of people just doesn't overwhelm me so I don't manage to enjoy it all. I've packed nearly everything you've mentioned, definitely purchased some wellies because I feel like it's an essential if it rains! :) xx

  3. Aww so jealous Emmie, this sounds amazing! I've always wanted to see Fatboy Slim and Two Door Cinema Club. You will have a fantastic time I'm sure. I recently camped for the first time in fifteen years and had a great time! If I can do it you can! My essentials would be baby wipes, ear defenders, eye mask and portable chargers! Enjoy!

    1. I think I'll probably miss Fatboy Slim as I'll be heading home but definitely can't wait for Two Door Cinema Club! :D I need to find some ear defenders, i'm hoping that my dad will bring some later aha! I've got one portable charger for emergencies but I'm with a PR company who have power sockets in their tent so i'm going to be using that to my advantage for sure!

      :D xx
